WALK FOR LIFE - A COMMUNITY EVENT
The Care Net Pregnancy Resource Center of Manassas announces the 5th Annual Walk for Life on Saturday, May 20 at 9:00 a.m. The walk will start at 8741 Plantation Lane in Manassas, and will be two miles long. LEARN TO WRITE A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS PLAN
On Wednesday, May 24, the Flory Small Business Development Center, Inc. will sponsor a workshop, "Writing a Successful Business Plan," from 7-10 p.m. in Manassas. Presented by Robert Amsler of F&M Bank-Northern Virginia, the workshop details information about how to develop the plan and use it in a loan/

STROKE...COMMUNITY SURVEY RESULTS ARE IN!
The American Heart Association and Inova Health Systems have partnered to educate the public about stroke in Northern Virginia. There will be a press conference held Monday, May 15 at 1:15 p.m. at Fire Station #9 on the Route 1 Corridor in Mount Vernon, which will include the results of a community survey about stroke knowledge and the kick-off a public education campaign on stroke. There will also be free screenings for stroke, blood pressure and cholesterol from 1-4 p.m. For further information, call Erica Neufeld at 202-785-7900.

Cradle to Crayons Child Development Center is now registering for the full day kindergarten program.
