In Business" Awards Ceremony. The following awards are
presented by the Chamber: Member of the Year; Committee of
the Year; Project of the Year; Business of the Year (up to
5 employees); Louis E. Maroon Business of the Year (6 to 15
employees); Business of the Year (16 or more employees); Outstanding
Service Award; "Behind the Scenes" Business Award;
"Behind the Scenes" Individual Award; Nonprofit
Member of the Year; "Rookie of the Year" and the
Spirit Award for recruiting new members. |

Before and After Hours |
|

Make
valuable contacts by meeting other business and community
leaders at our most popular networking events, Business Before
Hours and Business After Hours. These complimentary
morning and evening events are hosted at member establishments
and are designed to expand your base of business contacts. |

Join in the
fun of the Chamber's annual family event, the Chamber Hoe
Down. Over 400 members along with their employees, families
and guests enjoy all-you-can-eat food, music, dancing and
children's entertainment on a Saturday afternoon in September. |

Network with other
business and community leaders while enjoying a buffet meal
and listening to informative and entertaining speakers.
Featured speakers have included sports personalities, university
and college presidents, business leaders and government officials.

Beginnings" New Member Orientation |
|
Get the most
out of your Chamber membership! All members, rookies and veterans
alike, are invited to attend the informative orientations.
These events are held once a quarter and cover benefits and
operational information. |

Annual
Dinner Dance Celebration |
|
|
Put
your dancing shoes on for our dinner-dance celebration! Each
year, this formal affair is held in June with the installation
of officers and board members. Live music, a delicious dinner
and a festive theme make this an evening to remember! |

Plan on receiving
a well-deserved "thank you" from the Chamber with
our annual "Pat on the Back" Program. Each St. Patrick's
Day, members are personally thanked for their support with
a token of appreciation and pat on their back. |

Cuisine
de Commerce Help
the community while helping yourself to another dessert by
attending our Cuisine de Commerce. The event's menu features
delicious samples from many member restaurants, caterers and
hotels. At this "food frenzy," hundreds of toys
are collected and donated to SERVE for distribution to local
children. Also, a $1,000 portion of the proceeds raised is
donated to an outstanding nonprofit organization through the
Chamber's Annual Shelley Krasnow Community Service Award. |

Attend the
Not-For-Profit Summit to hear experts address issues relevant
to the successful operation of nonprofit organizations. In
addition, businesses whose target market includes nonprofit
have the opportunity to participate as exhibitors. |

Members
and their guests enjoy an afternoon of Nine-Hole Captain's
Choice golf, lunch and an opportunity to kick off the golf
season at the Polar Bear Scramble held annually in March.
A variety of sponsorship levels are available. A portion of
the proceeds supports the Chamber's Scholarship Program. |

Networking Breakfast |
|
Generate
contacts, leads, sales, and an increased awareness of the
products and services offered by other members at our July
Networking Breakfast. The entire event is dedicated to networking
with icebreakers, interactive activities and promotional door
prizes. |

January
Economic Development Update & Reception |
|
Listen
to speakers from the four local jurisdictions present their
information on current and future business and community endeavors.
The update is held each January as a forecast of the economic
development for the new year. |

Discover
information on the many activities sponsored by local nonprofit
organizations at the Chamber's Community Showcase. Member
nonprofit participate each year in the event held at our February
luncheon. In addition, the nominees and winner of the Annual
Shelley Krasnow Community Service Award are honored. |
