Have you recently joined the Chamber? Are you wondering how to expand your business? Why not try sponsoring an event. It is one of the best ways to get your name in front of a lot of prospective customers at one time. Depending on the event, your business could have exposure for as long as six months. For example, we’ve already begun promoting the Annual Dinner Dance. This event doesn’t take place until June and the sponsors signed up are already being promoted in event publicity. The annual trade show, Connections ETC, is another great bang for the buck. Last year we had in the neighborhood of 1,100 attendees, including members and non-members alike.

Unlike other advertising you might do, sponsorships have a long shelf life. Consider an ad in the Calendar of Events or the Chamber’s website or your logo on a T-shirt or coffee mug. Members hang onto these items.

Sponsorship shows credibility. Do you have a special nitch? Why not sponsor the Brown Bag Series or a special themed luncheon or event. There’s no end to the variety of sponsorships available through the Chamber. They range anywhere from becoming a Cornerstone Contributor to sponsoring the What’s Happening event bulletin for a month. In fact, you might even consider building regular Chamber sponsorships into your annual marketing plan.
