The Greater Chamber’s Western Prince William Branch Office, located at 7450 Heritage Village Plaza, Suite 202, Gainesville (across the street from the entrance to Heritage Hunt Golf & Country Club) opened on Mon., June 2nd, 2008. The office is staffed by Membership & Events Coordinator Andrea Whaley and Communications Director Laurel Vaughan. Office hours are 8:30 a.m.– 5:00 p.m., Mon.–Fri.
The location of the Western Prince William Branch Office is especially convenient for the businesses located in the western portion of Prince William County including Bristow, Broad Run, Nokesville, Gainesville and Haymarket. The phone number of the branch office is 703-753-4175.
The Branch office was deemed essential by the 2007-2008 Board of Directors of the Prince William County-Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce due to the growth in the area in recent years. The county estimates that the population of the region has risen at a rate of at least 133 percent in the years since the 2000 census. Many new public schools have been opened there and more than one-quarter of member businesses in the Prince William County–Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce are located in that area.
“The Gainesville/Haymarket area has experienced tremendous growth over the past few years as many innovative new corporations have moved here recently. We are thrilled to have a Chamber location right in the heart of this new business corridor so that we can better serve their needs,” commented 2008-2009 Prince William County-Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce Chair Steve Nelson, Junction Travel, Inc.
The branch office also provides new ways for member businesses in the area to connect. The Greater Chamber holds some standard events at the Western Prince William branch office including periodic Chamber 101 Mentoring sessions for new members and lunchtime Brown Bag Seminars. In addition, they have added Network @ Noon roundtable discussions and the Monthly Business Building Breakfasts (MB3). Both events are exclusive to Western Prince William County. Much like that of the main office, the conference room in the satellite office is also available for use by members during business hours. The Greater Chamber will continue to serve members at the main office located at 8963 Center Street in Old Town Manassas.
