Mission: To help cultivate an economic and political climate conducive to business development and growth of existing business.

Identify and define issues regarding local government plan review and permitting for private development. Evaluate any impact on economic development and work in concert with other affected organizations to improve the processes.

Enhance the annual Economic Update and Reception to more effectively demonstrate the Chamber's role in promoting business growth and to provide more direct benefit to attendees. |

Strengthen the Chamber's relationship with the economic development arms of local governments to improve timely and meaningful communication.

Continue holding meetings out in the community, but alternate them with regular business meetings at the Chamber office to enhance the contributions the committee can make to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors and to provide solid "take home" information to the active committee members. |

Participate as a member of the Northern Virginia Coalition of Chambers in a �visit your local legislators� trip to Richmond while the General Assembly is in session.

Develop a county legislative priorities package for the Prince William County Board of Supervisors.

Keep Chamber Board aware of pending legislation releveant to Chamber members on national, statewide and local levels. |

Coordinate and monitor the attendance of Chamber Board of Directors at public meetings of all major jurisdictions within Prince William County, Manassas, Manassas Park and Haymarket.
